VIRTUAL BOOT CAMP
How Master's Students Can Land Jobs and Gain Work Experience
SEPT 11 - 14, 2023

Presented by the Global Higher Education Division of ETS
How do you prepare for a job search after graduating with your master’s?
Maybe you’re an international student who has limited time to quickly find and land an internship. Maybe you’ve started your master’s in hope of advancing in your career, but you’re not sure how to leverage your degree with employers.
Master’s students like you are busy. Finding career support and the resources you need can be challenging when you have so many commitments already. That’s why we’ve designed this one week boot camp experience to help you quickly gain the insight you need to launch a job (or internship) search.
During this online boot camp you will learn:
1. How to go beyond online job sites and tap into the hidden job market;
2. How to navigate a career fair with confidence;
3. How to network when you don’t have a network;
4. And how to write a resume that will be read by a hiring manager.

Absolutely! The earlier you learn what it takes to launch an effective job search, the better prepared you will be to quickly find a job after your master’s. We cannot emphasize the importance of career preparation enough. Learning the foundations and starting your career prep now can make for an easier, more effective job search when you are ready.
Yes! While much of our programming emphasizes starting early, the steps to an effective job search are the same for every master’s student and graduate. Your timeline might just be more condensed, and we’ll speak to that during sessions.
Yes, this Summit is for you! We’ll address job searching for both master’s students new to the job search, and master’s students who are looking to advance in their career. At the Summit you’ll learn how to leverage your advanced education, skills, and experience into the next stage of your professional career.
Replays will be available to individual and institutional subscribers of our Master’s Career Training Platform, Beyond Graduate School. To learn more about subscribing, please visit www.beyondgradschool.com/individual-membership/
